The difference between knowing and truly understanding.

Confident Care Academy guides nurses through the deeper clinical reasoning behind critical care, helping you build confidence at every stage of your journey.

Have you ever…

Left work replaying a moment in your head, wondering if you missed something important?

Felt the pressure of caring for a critically ill patient and questioned if you’re truly ready?

Felt your heart race before calling a provider, unsure you’re saying the right thing?

ICU nurses practice airway management and bag-valve-mask skills during a hands-on simulation training session.

The problem isn’t effort. It’s understanding.

Too often, nurses are taught to follow checklists and protocols instead of clinical reasoning.

We believe nurses are capable of understanding medicine at a far deeper level than they're usually taught.

From Our Community

  • "As a first generation college graduate who started at a world renowned institution, I struggled to find both community and confidence in my critical care skills as a new ICU nurse. Confident Care Academy has given me a supportive, encouraging space while helping me truly solidify my abilities as a critical care nurse. Since joining, I’ve earned a DAISY Award and passed my CCRN with flying colors. I’m genuinely grateful to Confident Care Academy to opening my mind to the possibility of becoming a CRNA — and a dream I never imagined could be attainable for someone like me."

  • "Confident Care Academy was an absolute game changer in my critical care journey. The way the content breaks down complex concepts like hemodynamics, pharmacology, ventilator management, and physiology helped me deepen my understanding far beyond what I learned at the bedside. It connected all the dots for me in a way that truly elevated my confidence as a clinician and carried directly into my CRNA applications and interviews. I genuinely believe the foundation I built with CCA played a major role in helping me get into my dream CRNA program."

  • "I joined CCA at the beginning of the month to support my journey and in that short period of time I have already been reassured that I belong here. The community has offered so many helpful tips and a sense of direction that I truly appreciate. I’m an ICU nurse from New Mexico with six years of experience and I recently transitioned into flight nursing. Pursuing CRNA feels like the next step for me in my career. I’m excited to be on this path — and even more motivated now that I have the support of the CCA community behind me."

Confident Care Academy isn’t just a resource — it’s a community that grows with you throughout your career.

Hot Tip

Many nurses are surprised to learn their hospital offers continuing education reimbursement.

Confident Care Academy is an accredited provider of Continuing Education through the California Board of Nursing, accepted in all 50 states.

Ask your nurse manager or unit educator if your unit reimburses continuing education subscriptions and submit your CCA receipt if approved.

Meet the Founders, Chrissy & Anna

Anna Jobe, CRNA, and Chrissy Massaro, CRNA, founders of Confident Care Academy, sitting back-to-back and smiling.

ANNA (pictured left) is a CRNA in New York City and former cardiovascular ICU nurse who trained at Johns Hopkins. She developed a passion for education after realizing how many nurses share the same questions, doubts, and learning curves in critical care. At CCA, Anna focuses on building community and creating resources that make complex concepts feel accessible and supportive.

CHRISSY (pictured right) is a CRNA in New York City and a former cardiovascular ICU nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Early in her career, she realized how much of the “why” behind critical care was never taught in nursing school — and how much easier the ICU would have been if she had understood the physiology earlier. At CCA, Chrissy focuses on teaching the clinical reasoning that help nurses build real confidence in their practice for every stage of their career.

Wherever you are in your journey, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
