The Confident Care Experience is a two-day, immersive simulation workshop designed to strengthen clinical decision-making in realistic patient scenarios.

Over the course of the event, participants rotate through high-fidelity simulations, work through complex cases in small groups, and participate in guided debriefs led by experienced clinicians. Instead of passively watching a lecture, you’ll actively think through patient care in real time — practicing how to assess, prioritize, communicate, and respond when the stakes are high.

High-Fidelity Simulation Scenarios

Work through realistic patient cases using professional simulation equipment designed to recreate the complexity and urgency of real clinical environments.

Rotate through scenarios in small groups so you can actively participate in decision-making, communication, and patient management.

Expert Guided Clinical Debriefs

After each simulation, experienced clinicians lead structured debriefs to break down what happened, why decisions mattered, and how to think through similar situations in practice.

Hands-On Skill Development

Practice essential clinical skills including airway management, high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ultrasound-guided vascular access, intraosseous (IO) access, hemodynamic monitoring, medication management, rapid sequence intubation (RSI) preparedness, and adherence to emergency response algorithms.

The Experience

  • The Confident Care Experience is designed for ICU nurses and clinicians who want to strengthen their clinical reasoning and decision-making in high-acuity patient scenarios. Most participants have some critical care experience, but the workshop is structured to support a range of experience levels through small-group simulations and guided debriefs.

  • The Experience takes place in New York City at a professional simulation center equipped with high-fidelity mannequins and clinical training equipment designed to recreate realistic patient care scenarios.

  • The cost to attend the Confident Care Experience is $897, which includes two full days of simulation training, hands-on skills workshops, and guided clinical debriefs with experienced instructors.

  • Yes! Attendees will receive 14 hours of CE for attending the conference.

  • The next Confident Care Experience will take place July 17–18 in New York City. Space is limited in order to maintain small-group simulation sessions.
